Finland may be using Russian railcars for domestic transportation until 2028
The European Union may allow Finland to use Russian-made railcars for domestic transport until 2028. Previously, it was planned to decommission this fleet at the end of 2026.

According to LDZ, on October 3, the Register of Enterprises decided to reorganize three subsidiaries of VAS Latvijas dzelzceļš into a single structure. Thus, SIA LDZ ritošā sastāva serviss, LDZ Loģistika, and LDZ Cargo will now be part of LDZ Cargo.
