In early April, the first LNG tanker (Vivit Americas – 299 m long, 46 m wide and with a capacity of 174,060 cu m of LNG) arrived at the Finnish port of Inkoo, located in the Gulf of Finland, with a cargo delivered by Vitol from the US plant Venture Global Calcasieu Pass (Louisiana).

The stevedoring companies operating in the Port of Klaipeda stepped up handling of various types of cargoes by 10% month-on-month to 3.4 million t in March 2023, exceeding the February handling volume by 309,000 t.
About 302 wagons (four trains) were transferred daily through the Chop – Čierna nad Tisou land border crossing in the period from April 1 till April 6. A total of 3,421 wagons were reportedly waiting at the Chop station on April 6.
