About 321 wagons were transferred daily through the Chop – Čierna nad Tisou land border crossing point from August 1 to August 31 (up 15 wagons compared with the period from August 1 to August 24). In particular, 285 wagons were moving on export routes (up 18 units)
Interpipe has established logistics chains for the delivery of goods to consumers. The main points of departure are Romanian ports. In addition, Interpipe has tested other routes, including Polish ports in North Europe and ports on the Adriatic coast, from where containers delivered by road, rail or a combination of both can be shipped.
A total of 1,302 wagons were waiting in a queue at the Izov station on August 1-16, while 1,219 wagons were standing at the Mostyska-2 station and 400 wagons at the Yahodyn station (170 units with grain, 59 units with clay, 66 units with cement, and 33 containers).
ArcelorMittal Poland has completed the reconstruction of blast furnace No. 2 in Dąbrowa Górnicza, which has been underway since the end of March. The total investment amounted to PLN 720 million.
On August 9, a total of 1,639 wagons were waiting in a queue at the Izov station (556 wagons with ore, 329 wagons with metals, 434 wagons with cakes, 108 containers), while 1,046 wagons (483 with metals, 369 containers, 163 with grain, 30 with cement) were standing at the Mostyska-2 station.
