Hungary cancels 7-day transit period for Ukrainian grain
On May 12, the Hungarian Gazette published the Hungarian Government Decree No. 130/2023 (IV. 18.), stating that agricultural products originating from Ukraine which have been supplied to Hungary for transit purposes are allowed to stay in the territory of the country during the period of 15 days.
Restrictions on grain transportation for Hungarian operator MMV
From May 16 to June 30, a ban will be in force on acceptance of wheat (HS 1001), corn (1005), rapeseed (1205) and sunflower seeds (1206) intended for transportation by MMV Magyar Maganvasut (Hungary).
Moldova is not going to restrict imports of Ukrainian agri products for now
Moldova will be monitoring the volumes of grain imported from Ukraine without imposing restrictions in accordance with the EU decision.
Handling at Ukraine-Poland border crossings*
A total of 2,808 wagons were transferred through the Izov-Hrubieszów land border crossing point from May 1 to May 10.
