As many as 530 wagons were heading to the Batiovo – Epereshke land border crossing point on September 4, of which 161 wagons were loaded with ore, 177 wagons with grain, and 91 wagons with vegetable oil.
Vessels that were blocked in Ukraine’s Black Sea ports due to the war continue to use the temporary corridor. Two bulk carriers, the Liberian-flagged Anna-Theresa and the Marshall Islands-flagged Ocean Courtesy, have left Pivdennyi port and are heading toward the Bosphorus.

Prices for iron ore of literally all major origins have risen owing to, firstly, scant inflow of the raw material to the sales markets and, secondly, strong demand from China where the principal producers show high pace of steel production this week.
There were about 8,600 wagons with various goods waiting to be transferred through Ukraine’s western land border crossing points as of August 24 compared with 7,390 wagons seen in late July.
Starting from August 26, transportation of ore, slag and ash (HS 26) from Ukrainian stations via the Izov-Exp border crossing (PKP) to Slawkow LHS in Poland for Arcelor Mittal Polska consignee is prohibited.
