There were about 7,610 wagons with various goods waiting to be transferred through Ukraine’s western land border crossing points as of August 3 compared with 7,390 wagons seen in late July.
As many as 289 wagons were transferred daily through the Chop – Čierna nad Tisou land border crossing point as of August 3 (up 15 wagons compared with the previous week). In particular, 261 wagons were moving on export routes (up 13 units), while 28 wagons arrived with imported goods (up 2 units).

A total of 14,564 wagons were transferred through the Izov-Hrubieszów land border crossing point in July. The average daily handling speed amounted to 470 wagons (up 109 units per day compared with June). In July, the station daily handled 382 wagons with export cargo and 88 wagons with imported goods.
As many as 2,691 wagons were handled at the Batiovo – Epereshke land border crossing point in the period from July 1 to July 31.
As many as 274 wagons were transferred daily through the Chop – Čierna nad Tisou land border crossing point in the period from July 1 to July 27 (up 7 wagons compared with the previous week).
The average daily handling rate shortened by 16 wagons at the Yahodyn station during the period started July 1 and ended July 26.
Iron ore prices have sagged in China amid sluggish trade, tightened production curbs in Tanshan as well as due to expected increase in the domestic iron ore production in the second quarter of 2023.
As many as 2,287 wagons with a total of 150,600 t of goods were handled at the Batiovo – Epereshke land border crossing point in the period from July 1 to July 24.
