During a meeting of Ukrainian and Slovak railroaders, ZSSK Cargo representative Josef Virba said that the company noted a negative trend in cargo acceptance (-25%, or -254,000 t compared to the previous month). In June, the volume of cargo handled reached 1 million tons.
As many as 499 wagons were heading to the Batiovo – Epereshke land border crossing point on August 7, including 234 with ore, 84 with grain, and 102 with vegetable oil. Note that the grain flow has lately been gaining pace at this border crossing.

The average daily handling speed amounted to 470 wagons (up 109 units per day compared with June). In July, the station daily handled 382 wagons with export cargo and 88 wagons with imported goods.

The average daily handling rate shortened by 16 wagons at the Yahodyn station during the period started July 1 and ended July 26.
