About 302 wagons (four trains) were transferred daily through the Chop – Čierna nad Tisou land border crossing in the period from April 1 till April 6. A total of 3,421 wagons were reportedly waiting at the Chop station on April 6.

Trade remains dull on the Ukrainian sunflower oil market, still putting pressure on prices. Buyers expect this trend to continue and do not hurry to sign deals.
Vegetable oil transshipment to be organized in Orlivka on the Danube
As part of the development of a new private port on the Danube near the Orlivka-Isaccea ferry crossing, a vegetable oil transshipment project is planned. Negotiations are currently underway to purchase pumps for direct transshipment of oil from tank vehicles to ships.
