As part of the Chornotysiv Terminal project (Zakarpattia region), the installation of elevator equipment for storing and handling grain, vegetable oil and containers has been completed.
Approximately 40 million tonnes of grain and leguminous crops were exported from Ukraine during the period started July 1, 2023 and ended March 31, 2024 (down 13% compared with the same period of the marketing year 2022-23).

Since the beginning of the current marketing year started July 1,2023 and up to February 29, 2024, a total of 34.1 million t of grain and legumes were exported from Ukraine (down 13% year-on-year). In particular, Ukraine exported 15.2 million t of corn (down 18% year-on-year)
About 3.2 million tonnes of grain were exported from Ukraine by railways as of February 28, 2024 (up 183,000 t compared with the same date of January). Almost 2.68 million t of grain were exported from the ports (up 255,000 t)
The cargo turnover increased by 122,000 t to 834,000 t in the Ventspils Freeport in January 2024 compared with December 2023.
Almost 6.4 million t of agricultural products were exported from Ukraine in January 2024 (down 11% or 0.8 million t compared with December 2023), including 5.4 million t of grain (down 10% month-on-month or 0.6 million t), 0.55 million t of vegetable oil (down 22% month-on-month or 0.15 million t)
Last year, the Romanian seaport of Constanta handled 92.5 million tonnes of cargo (up 22.5% year-on-year), including 25 million t of Ukrainian goods.
