EU extends restrictions on cooperation with Belarusian and Russian companies
According to the Council Implementing Regulation No. 2023/1591 (EU) of August 3, new restrictions on cooperation with Belarus were introduced. In particular, the list of individuals and legal entities subject to the measures adopted by Regulation No. 765/2006 of May 18, 2006 was expanded.
Convention for supply of ore and slag to Slawkow LHS station in Poland
Starting from August 26, transportation of ore, slag and ash (HS 26) from Ukrainian stations via the Izov-Exp border crossing (PKP) to Slawkow LHS in Poland for Arcelor Mittal Polska consignee is prohibited.

Handling at Ukraine – Hungary border crossings*
As many as 562 wagons were heading to the Batiovo – Epereshke land border crossing point on August 21, of which 182 wagons were loaded with grain, 105 wagons with vegetable oil, and 16 wagons with cakes.

Brindisi port in southern Italy to handle 750 m long freight trains
The authorities of the Puglia region in southeastern Italy have recently approved a project to modernize the railway connection to the port of Brindisi, which will allow trains with a length of 750 m to move in this direction.
