Ukraine and Poland sign agreement on development of railway communication
On August 28, the Polish operator Polskie Koleje Państwowe Spółka Akcyjna (PKP S.A.) and JSC Ukrzaliznytsia signed an agreement on joint work to develop freight and passenger rail transportation between the countries to increase export and import potential.
Interpipe exports its products through ports of Romania, Poland and Adriatic Sea
Interpipe has established logistics chains for the delivery of goods to consumers. The main points of departure are Romanian ports. In addition, Interpipe has tested other routes, including Polish ports in North Europe and ports on the Adriatic coast, from where containers delivered by road, rail or a combination of both can be shipped.

EC approves joint venture between Samskip, TX Logistik and Duisport
The European Commission has finally approved the establishment of a joint venture between Samskip, TX Logistik and Duisport – Ziel Terminal GmbH. The new company will operate the Logport III terminal in the port of Duisburg (Germany).
Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine simplifies rail transit between Ukraine and Moldova
On August 24, the Verkhovna Rada ratified the amendments to the Agreement between the Governments of Ukraine and Moldova on the operation of railway transport to simplify the transfer of freight cars between the countries.
