Queue of wagons for foreign operators in Ukrzaliznytsia rail network
About 8,400 wagons to be transferred to foreign operators were found waiting in the Ukrzaliznytsia rail network on August 17. In particular, 10 wagons had been loaded before June 1, while 1 wagon was loaded in June.

Italy: Facchini 1 tunnel modernization completed
The Facchini 1 tunnel, a key section of the railroad that provides access for freight trains to the port of Genoa in northwestern Italy, has completed modernization work. The tunnel profile has been widened to allow four-meter trailers to travel by rail, which is one of the criteria for TEN-T corridors.
Handling at Ukraine – Slovakia border crossings*
As many as 287 wagons were transferred daily through the Chop – Čierna nad Tisou land border crossing point from August 1 to August 17 (up 11 wagons compared with the period from August 1 to August 10).
Handling at Ukraine – Poland border crossings*
A total of 1,302 wagons were waiting in a queue at the Izov station on August 1-16, while 1,219 wagons were standing at the Mostyska-2 station and 400 wagons at the Yahodyn station (170 units with grain, 59 units with clay, 66 units with cement, and 33 containers).
Transportation of goods to Izmail station suspended for some consignees
From August 18 and until the decision is cancelled, a convention will be in force that will restrict transport of any cargoes to Izmail station and Izmail-Expo (Odesa Railway) for consignees Arkada LLC, Valletta PE, Riv. A. Holding, Izmail Commercial Sea Port (for Ra-Trans LLC, Riva A Holding LLC, Portinvest Logistic LLC).
