Starting from April 20 and until the decision is revoked, the carriers Rail Cargo Hungaria Zrt. and MMV Magyar Maganvasut Zrt. will be banned from transporting certain goods from Ukraine to Hungary for all recipients.
At a meeting with Ukrzaliznytsia, Polish operators reported that they currently have no official information on the requirements for the transit of Ukrainian products.
The total number of wagons waiting for unloading at Ukraine’s western border crossings reached almost 13,670 units on April 19, which is 2,830 units below the amount seen on March 31.
About 136 wagons (one train on a 1520 mm track gauge and one train on a 1435 mm track gauge) were transferred daily through the Vadul-Siret – Dornesti (Romania) border crossing as of April 18, while as many as 541 wagons were waiting in a queue (down 69 units over the week).
According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, agreements have been reached with the Polish side to resume the transit of Ukrainian agricultural products. Thus, transit should be unblocked on the night of April 20-21, 2023.
In the period from April 18 to June 30, the transportation of certain goods from Ukraine via Izov-Exp (PKP) to Poland, as well as in transit, for the carrier PKP LHS sp. z o.o. is prohibited.

From April 19 and until the decision is revoked, the carrier ZSSK Cargo will be banned from transporting certain goods from Ukraine to Slovakia for all consignees.
Starting from April 19 and until the decision is revoked, the ban will be in force for transportation of waste, ferrous scrap, ferrous ingots for melting (HS 7204) from Ukrainian stations to Hungary, namely to the Center station for the consignee Ozdi Acel Muvek Kft (OAM).
A total of 1,414 wagons were transferred through the Chop – Zahony land border crossing in the period from April 1 till April 17.
