Approximately 291 wagons (four trains) per day were transferred through the Chop – Čierna nad Tisou land border crossing from April 1 till April 13. A total of 3,223 wagons were waiting in a queue at the Chop station on April 13 (down 198 wagons over the week).
Izov-Hrubieszów land border crossing served a total of 5,684 wagons in April 1-12 with the average daily handling rate of 473 units (down 82 units per day compared with March).
From April 15 and until this decision is revoked, transportation of cereals (HCN 10), seeds and oilseeds (12), food industry residues and waste (23) from Ukraine to Poland via the Izov-exp. station (PKP) will be banned, but transit is allowed after approval by PKP LHS.
As many as 13,700 wagons were waiting for unloading at the Ukraine’s western land border crossings on April 12 (down 2,800 units compared with March 31).
