Exports of Ukrainian goods of various groups by railway in September
A total of 107 million tonnes of goods of various product groups were transported in the Ukrzaliznytsia rail network during the period started January 1 and ended September 30, 2023, down 9% compared with the same period of the previous year.
Ukraine finishes September with exports of almost 1.1 mmt of grain by railway
Almost 1.07 million tonnes of grain were exported from Ukraine by railways during the period started September 1 and ended September 30 (up 196,000 t compared with August). Meanwhile, the grain transportation volume reached almost 180,200 t in October 1-4.

Handling at Ukraine – Romania and Ukraine – Moldova border crossings*
Approximately 181 wagons were transferred daily through the the Vadul-Siret – Dornesti (Romania) land border crossing as of October 3 (up 1 wagon compared with the daily rate a week ago).
Handling at Ukraine – Hungary border crossings*
About 500 wagons were reportedly heading to the Batiovo – Epereshke land border crossing point on October 2. Meanwhile, some 50 wagons including 22 wagons with clay were moving to Chop – Zahony border crossing point on that date.
Handling at Ukraine – Poland border crossings*
About 2,800 wagons were moving to the Izov station on September 27. Up to 2,000 wagons were on their way to the Mostyska-2 station on that date, including 1,000 containers, 450 wagons with metals and 219 wagons with coal.
