Ventspils Freeport cargo turnover in July 2025
The cargo turnover did not change much in July 2025 at the Ventspils Freeport. In particular, the stevedoring companies altogether handled approximately 503,000 t of cargo, a minor 4% or 20,000 t increase from June 2025.

Port of Gdansk plans to modernize Obrońców Westerplatte Quay
The Gdansk Seaport Authority has announced a tender for the development of project documentation for the comprehensive reconstruction of the Obrońców Westerplatte Quay. This was reported by the information portal “Gospodarkamorska.pl”.
Middle Corridor: MALBI-trans and Carpatica Feroviar to jointly work on transportation via Romanian port of Constanta
The transport and logistics company MALBI-trans (Czech Republic) and the Romanian state railway freight company Carpatica Feroviar (which was established after the bankruptcy of the state railway carrier CFR Marfă in 2024) have signed a cooperation agreement within the Middle Corridor.
