The Ukrainian Danube Shipping Company has announced another decrease in coaster freight rates for transportation of agricultural products in 3,000 t to 6,000 t lots from the Danube ports in June.

According to Dmytro Moskalenko, CEO of Ukrainian Danube Shipping Company, the UDP has sent three more vessels of Kapitan Antypov type to the ÖSWAG shipyard (Linz, Austria) for repair.
Production and offer prices of large railway castings in Ukraine
Kremenchuk Steel Works produced about 500 t of large railway steel castings in May compared with 1,000 t in April. The total output of such products averaged some 4,300 t in the period from January 1 to May 31, 2024
Riga Freeport cargo turnover in May 2024
The cargo turnover has been shrinking at the Riga Freeport for the third month in a row. In May, port operators handled about 1.3 million t of goods, falling behind the April result by about 122,000 t.
Freight rolling stock rental rates in Baltic countries in June 2024
The June rental rates have stayed at the level of May in the Baltic countries. Rental rates for box cars with a body capacity of 161-175 cu m and fitting platforms have changed slightly only due to exchange rate fluctuations.
