About 630 wagons were reportedly heading to the Batiovo – Epereshke land border crossing point on November 13, including 90 wagons with grain and 84 wagons with vegetable oil. As many as 103 wagons of which 81 units with grain were on their way to the Chop – Zahony border crossing on that date.

More than 635,000 tonnes of grain were exported from Ukraine by railways during the period started November 1 and ended November 8, while a total of 1.73 million t of grain were supplied abroad in October, according to updated reports.

Beacon Rail, a rolling stock leasing company, has ordered ten Vectron MS multisystem locomotives from Siemens Mobility. They are to be used along the Rhine-Alpine corridor, between North Sea ports, and on domestic European routes. This order will bring the number of Vectron locomotives in the company’s fleet to 170.
