Earlier this week, Egyptian producers were offering granular urea at $420/t FOB. Fertiglobe sold 50,000 t of the fertilizer to EFC at $405/t FOB and 6,000 t at $400/t FOB. MOPCO sold 6,000 t of urea and a 10,000 t stem at $400/t FOB.
Prices for Ukrainian sunflower oil have inched up despite low importers’ activity and large number of offers. Exporters are voicing quotes at $860-870/t CIF Mersin, while buyers are ready to pay at best $800-840/t.

According to results of the January-September period 2023, the cargo turnover reached almost 27 million tonnes at the ports of Szczecin and Swinoujscie, showing a 1% increase compared with the same period of 2022.

Leasing company Alpha Trains has signed an agreement with engineering company Alstom for the full maintenance of up to 20 Traxx locomotives at its depots in Italy for eight years.
Lithuanian company LTG Cargo plans to start operations in the neighboring countries of Estonia and Latvia. The certification process is currently underway, and the first test flights have already been made in Estonia.
