Exports of Ukrainian agricultural products in January 2025

            Almost 4.06 million t of agricultural products were exported from Ukraine in January 2025 (down 13% or about 600,000 t compared with December). In particular, exports included 3.45 million t of grain (down 11% year-on-year or 400,000 t), 380,000 t of vegetable oil (down 14% year-on-year or 64,000 t)

Suspension of cargo transportation to Hungary in wagons belonging to some Baltic, Central Asian and Caucasian countries

            Starting March 4 and until this decision is revoked, a convention will be in effect that will restrict transportation of all cargo from Ukrainian stations to Hungary (for all consignees) in wagons belonging to the railways of Uzbekistan, Georgia, Estonia, Lithuania, Kazakhstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Latvia, Belarus, Moldova

            The last week of winter has been marked by worsening ice conditions in the Azov Sea , as well as by less favorable weather conditions in the northern and eastern parts of the Black Sea. Activity has not changed much in both the Black and Mediterranean Seas, remaining weak.
