According to LTG Infra (a subsidiary of Lietuvos geležinkeliai), the electrification of the Vilnius-Klaipeda railway line is ongoing, with almost half of the plan already implemented.

On August 24, the act of acceptance and transfer of the Unified Property Complex of the State Enterprise “Commercial Sea Port of Ust-Dunaisk” was signed. Elixir Ukraine officially became the new owner of the port. This was reported by the State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPF).

There were about 8,600 wagons with various goods waiting to be transferred through Ukraine’s western land border crossing points as of August 24 compared with 7,390 wagons seen in late July.
On August 28, the Polish operator Polskie Koleje Państwowe Spółka Akcyjna (PKP S.A.) and JSC Ukrzaliznytsia signed an agreement on joint work to develop freight and passenger rail transportation between the countries to increase export and import potential.
