Ukraine exported 1.2 mmt of grain by railway in November 1-15
Handling at Ukraine – Romania and Ukraine – Moldova border crossings*
About 201 wagons were transferred daily through the the Vadul-Siret – Dornesti (Romania) land border crossing as of November 21 (up 20 wagons in two weeks). By destinations, approximately 138 wagons with export cargo (up 21 units) and 63 wagons with imported goods (up 8 units) were handled daily in the period under review.

DTEK Energy purchases additional 70k tonnes of thermal coal from Poland
DTEK Energy has contracted additional 70,000 tonnes of thermal coal from Poland for the heating season. In total, for the period from September 2023 to March 2024, the volume of imported coal purchases has been increased to 280,000 t.
Handling at Ukraine – Slovakia border crossings*
On average, as many as 209 wagons were transferred daily through the Chop – Čierna nad Tisou land border crossing point as of November 9 (down 41 units in two weeks). In particular, 183 wagons were moving on export routes (down 40 units), while 26 wagons arrived with imported goods (down 1 wagon).

Handling at Ukraine – Hungary border crossings*
About 630 wagons were reportedly heading to the Batiovo – Epereshke land border crossing point on November 13, including 90 wagons with grain and 84 wagons with vegetable oil. As many as 103 wagons of which 81 units with grain were on their way to the Chop – Zahony border crossing on that date.
