Interpipe has shipped a batch of more than 2,600 wheels to the Moroccan railways (Office National des Chemins de Fer; ONCF).
Handling at Ukraine-Poland border crossings*
The Izov-Hrubieszów land border crossing showed handling of almost 7,200 wagons in the period from May 1 to May 24 with the average daily transfer speed of 300 wagons (down 137 units daily compared with April).
Handling at Ukraine-Slovakia border crossings*
About 261 wagons (two wagons more compared with the previous week and down 27 wagons against April) were transferred through the Chop – Čierna nad Tisou land border crossing as of May 23, including 190 wagons with ore (down 24 units compared with April), 22 wagons with grain (down three units), etc.
Cargo turnover down 12% yoy in Klaipeda port
The overall cargo turnover dropped by 12% to 11.07 million t from January 1 to April 30, 2023 at the port of Klaipeda compared with the same period of 2022.
Handling at Ukraine – Romania and Ukraine – Moldova border crossings*
About 153 wagons were transferred daily through the Vadul-Siret – Dornesti (Romania) border crossing in the period from May 1 to May 23 (up 16.6 units compared with April).
Gdansk port planning to transship 2.5 million t grain this year
This year, the port of Gdansk is planning to increase grain transshipment to 2.5 million t (up 0.6 million t compared with the previous year)
