On April 25, SOCAR’s office in Bulgaria was opened in Sofia and a Memorandum of Understanding was signed on the development of cooperation between the gas transmission system operators Bulgartransgaz (Bulgaria), Transgaz (Romania), FGSZ (Hungary), Eustream (Slovakia) and the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan SOCAR.
A total of 1.9 million tonnes of grain were exported from Ukraine by railway during the period from April 1 till April 26.
About 290 wagons (three or four trains) were transferred daily through the Chop – Čierna nad Tisou land border crossing in the period from April 1 till April 27.
The Port of Klaipeda finished April with a 432,000 t increase in cargo turnover to 3.8 million t compared with March.
The Izov – Hrubieszów land border crossing served 11,708 wagons in the period from April 1 till April 26 with the average daily rate of 450 wagons (down 105 units per day compared with March).
Almost 1.54 million tonnes of grain meant for exports from Ukraine were carried by railways during the period started April 1 and ended April 19, 2023.
