The stevedoring companies operating at the Freeport of Ventspils reported a 19,000 t decrease in cargo turnover to 872,000 t in May compared with April.

Quotes for imported thermal coal have been growing in ARA ports for the third week in a row, although trade remains dull in the region. Stocks of coal are quite large, while consumption is low.
