Goods awaiting transfer through Ukraine’s western land border crossing points
There were about 7,090 wagons with various goods waiting to be transferred through Ukraine’s western land border crossing points as of July 20 compared with 7,080 wagons seen in late June.

Up to 141 wagons per day were transferred through the the Vadul-Siret – Dornesti (Romania) land border crossing as of July 18 (down 10 wagons compared with the previous week).

Coal prices have fallen sharply on the West European market. Trade is slack, consumption is also low.

There are about 6,500 wagons with various goods waiting to be transferred through Ukraine’s western land border crossing points as of July 13 compared with 7,100 wagons in late June. Almost 2,100 wagons are loaded with ore (down 529 units compared with June).

Demand for imported thermal coal is virtually dead in West Europe. The season of high consumption is over, and stocks are impressive; purchasing for the new season will start closer to autumn. Prices are stable, with no signed deals reported.
