Demand for imported thermal coal is virtually dead in Western Europe, which continues to put pressure on relevant prices. Market participants note that there are significant stocks of coal in ARA ports and local traders are ready to resell it to Asian countries.
Starting June 3, transportation of coal, lignite, peat and other mineral resins (HS 27060000) from Ukrainian stations via the Uzhhorod-exp. border crossing (ZSR, CZ) to Slovakian Vojany SRT station is banned for all consignees.
