In Ukraine, grain export prices have shown an upturn amid steady demand and ongoing problems with shipments by sea. Wheat is being increasingly shipped to Asia, with feed wheat being popular in Spain, Italy and Bangladesh (quotes are voiced at $227-230/t C&F, $200/t DAP and $265/t C&F, respectively).

Latvia allocates €50,000 to contribute to Grain from Ukraine Program
On November 14, 2023, the Cabinet of Ministers of Latvia decided to allocate €50,000 from the state budget to contribute to the Grain from Ukraine humanitarian aid program. This is Latvia’s second investment in this program – last year the country also financed assistance in the amount of €50,000.
