LTG to halt transit of Lukoil oil products to Kaliningrad due to sanctions
Lithuanian Railways (LTG) has announced that it will stop transporting petroleum products belonging to Russian company Lukoil to the Kaliningrad region amid new sanctions imposed by the US and the UK against Russia’s largest oil companies. This was reported by Lietuvos nacionalinis radijas ir televizija (Lithuanian National Radio and Television, LRT).

Port of Klaipeda cargo turnover in September 2025
In September, the Port of Klaipeda transshipped approximately 4.35 million t of various cargoes, which became the highest handling volume since February 2022 and exceeded the August turnover by 102,000 t. The increase was exclusively thanks to Klaipeda State Seaport that handled a total of 3.59 million t of cargo
