Goods awaiting transfer through Ukraine’s western land border crossing points
Approximately 10,000 wagons with various goods were found waiting for a transfer through Ukraine’s western land border crossing points on October 11 compared with about 11,000 wagons in late September.
Handling at Ukraine – Poland border crossings*
About 2,950 wagons were moving to the Izov station on October 11, including 938 wagons with cakes, 893 wagons with vegetable oil, and 246 wagons with grain. Up to 1,900 wagons were on their way to the Mostyska-2 station on that date, including 976 containers and 418 wagons with metals.

Up to 500k tonnes of Ukrainian grain delivered by railways in October
Almost 504,000 tonnes of grain were exported from Ukraine by railways during the period started October 1 and ended October 11 compared with 1.07 million t during entire September.

The cargo turnover surged by 30% month-on-month at the Freeport of Riga in September compared with August.

A total of 12,200 wagons were waiting for unloading at Ukraine’s western land border crossing points on October 11, down 796 wagons compared with September 30.
Discounts for transportation of Ukrainian agri products through Moldova not implemented so far
During a meeting of Ukrainian, Romanian, and Moldovan railroaders, Valerii Tkachev, Director of the Commercial Department of Ukrzaliznytsia JSC, said that discounts on tariffs for the transportation of Ukrainian agricultural products have not yet been introduced.

The offer of Ukrainian sunflower oil for October-November shipments remains limited. Some companies are focused on fulfillment of previously concluded agreements, while others do not hurry to sell amid unstable transportation to ports.
Port of Klaipeda cargo turnover in September
The cargo turnover increased by 118,000 t to 3.6 million t in the Port of Klaipeda in September. The Klaipeda State Seaport transshipped 2.8 million t of cargo in the period under review (up 172,000 t from August)
