The Ukrainian sunflower oil market is inactive. Offers are virtually absent as there is no possibility to ship via the grain corridor.

Handling at Ukraine – Romania and Ukraine – Moldova border crossings*
Up to 145 wagons per day were transferred through the the Vadul-Siret – Dornesti (Romania) land border crossing as of July 25 (up 4 wagons compared with the previous week).
Handling at Ukraine – Hungary border crossings*
As many as 2,287 wagons with a total of 150,600 t of goods were handled at the Batiovo – Epereshke land border crossing point in the period from July 1 to July 24.
Handling at Ukraine – Slovakia border crossings*
As many as 267 wagons were transferred daily through the Chop – Čierna nad Tisou land border crossing point as of July 20 (up 2 wagons compared with the previous week).
Grain exports from Ukraine in MY 2023-24
A total of 1.67 million t of grain and leguminous crops were exported from Ukraine during the period started July 1, 2023 and ended July 24, 2023 (up 19% compared to the same period of the marketing year 2022-23).

Discount for sunflower oil transit through Moldova
The CFM Decision No. 6 of July 7 was amended to provide a separate discount for the transit of sunflower oil (HS 1512) through the territory of Moldova via the Basarabeasca – Etulia section to the Danube ports of Reni, Giurgiulesti and Galati.
Wagon queues at land border crossings*
Approximately 8,070 wagons were waiting for unloading at Ukraine’s western land border crossing points as of July 19 (up 560 wagons compared with June 28).
Handling at Ukraine – Poland border crossings*
A total of 8,189 wagons were transferred through the Izov-Hrubieszów land border crossing point from July 1 to July 19. The average daily handling speed amounted to 431 wagons (up 16 units per day compared with June).
Goods awaiting transfer through Ukraine’s western land border crossing points
There were about 7,090 wagons with various goods waiting to be transferred through Ukraine’s western land border crossing points as of July 20 compared with 7,080 wagons seen in late June.
