Thales, a French manufacturer of transportation technologies, plans to build a 4.4 km long railway to connect the Bajo de la Cabezuela dock in the port of Cadiz (southern Spain) with the Las Aletas station, which is located on the main route to Seville.

The European Investment Bank (EIB) has approved a €250 million loan to finance the construction of the second track of the railway connecting the Divača transport hub with the port of Koper in Slovenia.
