Suez Canal’s revenues down significantly in early January due to sharpening situation in Red Sea
According to the Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority (SCA), Osama Rabia, the canal’s revenues for the period from January 1 to January 11, 2024, fell by 40% compared to the same period last year. The main reason was the tension in the Red Sea.
