Riga Freeport cargo turnover in September 2024
The Riga Freeport stepped up cargo turnover by 286,000 t to 1.6 million t in September compared with August.

Liepaja SEZ cargo turnover in September 2024
According to the Liepaja SEZ, the September cargo turnover dropped to the lowest level since January 2024 at the port. Operators reduced transshipment by 30,000 t to 497,000 t in September compared with August.
Poland: Up to 18.7 million tons of cargo carried by railway in August
A total of 18.7 million tons of various goods were transported by railway in Poland in August, down 2.1% month-on-month and down 2.7% year-on-year.
Port of Klaipeda cargo turnover in September 2024
The port of Klaipeda handled approximately 4.2 million t of various cargoes in September 2024, up 136,000 t from August and the highest since February 2022. The overall increase is mainly due to a 240,000 t hike in cargo turnover in the Klaipeda State Seaport to 3.54 million t.
Exports of agricultural products from Ukraine in August 2024
Almost 4.8 million t of agricultural products were exported from Ukraine in August 2024 (down 3% or about 100,000 t compared with July). Export deliveries of ferrous metals from Ukraine by railways in August 2024
The railway traffic of rolled steel products, semi-finished products, pipes, pig iron and scrap of ferrous metals increased by 6% month-on-month to 950,000 t in Ukraine in August. Ventspils Freeport cargo turnover in August 2024
The cargo turnover shrank by 7% at the Ventspils Freeport in August compared with July. In particular, port operators handled 582,000 t of various types of goods, down 44,000 t against the previous month.
