Iron ore export deliveries from Ukraine by railway in December
The volume of iron ore transportation by railway amounted to 3.4 million t in Ukraine (up 12% compared with November). Exports increased by 9% month-on-month to 2.5 million t, while domestic deliveries jumped up by 21% month-on-month to 900,000 t.
Export deliveries of ferrous metals by railway in November
Railway transportation of rolled products, semi-finished products, pipes, pig iron and ferrous metal scrap increased by 10% to 800,000 t in Ukraine in November 2023 compared with October 2023.
Eesti Raudtee: freight transportation in 2023
According to information provided by the Estonian Railways (AS Eesti Raudtee), the overall volume of cargo transportation decreased by 39% year-on-year to 4.8 million t in 2023. Liquid mineral fuel, liquid cargo and combustible shale were the most popular cargoes in the period under review.
