Ukrainian Danube Shipping Company forms container caravans to Europe along Middle and Upper Danube River
Amid the blocking of checkpoints on the western border because of strikes and exporters’ problems with logistics, PJSC “Ukrainian Danube Shipping Company” (UDP) offers alternative routes from Ukraine to the EU: the company will form container caravans for transportation on the Middle and Upper Danube.
Port of Gdynia stepped up cargo handling by 5% in 2023
Last year, the Port of Gdynia increased its cargo handling by 5% year-on-year to 29.4 million tonnes. Grain was the most popular cargo, with the total turnover of 6.8 million t in 2023 (up 43% year-on-year). Coal goes next with 2.8 million t transshipped in the period under review (down 17%).

Mostyska dry port handled more than 70,000 TEU in 2023
Container Terminal Mostyska (the company “Mostyska Dry Port”) handled more than 72,400 TEU in 2023, with Asian countries (via European ports), Poland, Italy and Germany being the main destinations.
LTG Cargo: Cargo transportation volumes in 2023
Last year, the Lithuanian company LTG Cargo (Lietuvos Geležinkeliai) transported a total of 27.2 million t of cargo (up 2.5 million t compared with the year before). The list of most actively carried cargoes includes oil and oil products (9.4 million t), construction cargoes (5.5 million t), and agricultural products (4.7 million t).
