Adif to upgrade railway infrastructure at Seville cargo terminal
Adif, a railway infrastructure operator, has announced the start of repairing the railway infrastructure at its La Negrilla cargo terminal in Spain. Handling at Ukraine – Poland border crossings*
On December 14, a total of 3,200 wagons were moving to the Izov station including 1,300 wagons with cakes, 561 wagons with vegetable oil, and 626 containers. Handling at Ukraine – Romania and Ukraine – Moldova border crossings*
About 185 wagons were transferred daily through the the Vadul-Siret – Dornesti (Romania) land border crossing as of December 19 (down 5 wagons in two weeks). By destinations, approximately 146 wagons with export cargo (up 10 units) and 39 wagons with imported goods (down 24 units) were handled daily in the period under review.

LTG Cargo sends train with groupage cargo in containers to Ukraine
The Lithuanian freight carrier LTG Cargo (Lietuvos Geležinkeliai) is sending a train with groupage cargo of three customers in containers from the Kaunas Intermodal Terminal to Ukraine. The train has already been formed and will carry PET granules, ammonium sulfate, and empty containers.
Handling at Ukraine – Hungary border crossings*
A total of 1,708 wagons were transferred through the Batiovo – Epereshke land border crossing point in November, showing a handling rate of 57 wagons per day (compared with 56 wagons in the previous month) including 35 wagons with grain (up 1.7 units daily from October).
Handling at Ukraine-Slovakia border crossings*
About 257 wagons were transferred daily through the Chop – Čierna nad Tisou land border crossing point as of December 7 (up 15 units per day in two weeks). Approximately 200 wagons per day were moving on export routes (down 3 units), while 57 wagons arrived with imported cargo (up 18 wagons).
