Railway deliveries of mineral fertilizers to Ukrainian consignees
Railway supplies of mineral fertilizers plunged significantly in May compared with April, showing a 45% slump to 105,000 t. Domestic transportation almost halved – down 49% month-on-month to 58,000 t. Import transportation decreased by 39% to 44,000 t.
USAID AGRO to provide 9,500 tons of nitroammophoska to Ukrainian farmers
From June 24 to July 4, applications from farmers from southern, central, western and northwestern regions who grow grain or oilseeds are being accepted for participation in the USAID AGRO_1 ton of Nitroammophoska (NPK), 2024 program.
Kernel Agro Holding receives a vessel with NPK fertilizers
Kernel Agricultural Holding announced that it has accepted the first vessel with products from OSP Group, a global manufacturer of NPK fertilizers, as part of the agreement. The shipment was made in cooperation with SanAgro Ukraine (Agrofertrans).
Railway deliveries of mineral fertilizers to Ukrainian consignees
The overall transportation volume of mineral fertilizers to Ukrainian consignees dropped by 20% or 49,000 t to 190,000 t in April compared with March due to reduced inflow of imported mineral fertilizers into Ukraine (down 25% month-on-month to 73,000 t) and lower domestic supplies (down 19% month-on-month to 113,000 t).

The total volume of railway transportation of rolled products, semi-finished products, pipes, pig iron and scrap of ferrous metals increased by 11% to 800,000 t in Ukraine in April compared with March.

Riga Freeport cargo turnover in April 2024
The Riga Freeport handled about 1.4 million tonnes of various types of goods in April. Therefore, the total cargo turnover decreased by 108,000 t in April compared with March.
Port of Klaipeda cargo turnover in April 2024
The April cargo turnover of the port of Klaipeda increased by 244,000 t compared with March to almost 3.6 million t. This is mainly due to a 263,000 t hike in handling volume of crude oil at the Butinge terminal to 856,000 t (up 44% month-on-month).
Export deliveries of ferrous metals by railway in March 2024
The railway traffic of rolled steel products, semi-finished products, pipes, pig iron and scrap of ferrous metals increased by 8% month-on-month to 700,000 t in Ukraine in March. In particular, exports dropped by 5% month-on-month to 385,800 t, while domestic supplies surged by 29% month-on-month to 312,000 t.
