Lithuania proposes to introduce sanitary inspections of Ukrainian grain in its ports
Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda has proposed to transfer the procedures for checking Ukrainian grain (phytosanitary, sanitary, veterinary, etc.) from the Ukrainian-Polish border to the ports of the Baltic States. Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki responded positively.
Handling at Ukraine – Slovakia border crossings*
As many as 289 wagons were transferred daily through the Chop – Čierna nad Tisou land border crossing point as of August 3 (up 15 wagons compared with the previous week). In particular, 261 wagons were moving on export routes (up 13 units), while 28 wagons arrived with imported goods (up 2 units).

Handling of grain wagons at Ukraine’s sea ports
As of June 31, a total of 3,300 wagons loaded with grain were awaiting on tracks to be discharged at Ukrainian ports.
Handling at Ukraine – Romania and Ukraine – Moldova border crossings*
Up to 145 wagons per day were transferred through the the Vadul-Siret – Dornesti (Romania) land border crossing as of August 1 (unchanged compared with the previous week).

Handling at Ukraine – Poland border crossings*
A total of 14,564 wagons were transferred through the Izov-Hrubieszów land border crossing point in July. The average daily handling speed amounted to 470 wagons (up 109 units per day compared with June). In July, the station daily handled 382 wagons with export cargo and 88 wagons with imported goods.
