Prices for Ukrainian sunflower oil with October-November shipments have dropped to $800-845/t CIF Mersin. However, no signed deals have been reported. The number of offers has significantly exceeded demand this week.
As many as 1,866 wagons including 110 wagons with sunflower oil, 535 wagons with cakes, 612 wagons with ore and 182 containers were moving to the Izov station on September 13.
A total of 426,000 tonnes of grain were exported from Ukraine by railways during the period started September 1 and ended September 13 compared with 876,000 t during the entire August.
In the first week of September, Ukrainian suppliers have been offering sunflower oil at $850-855/t CIF Mersin, while importers insisted on levels of $845-849/t CIF Mersin for shipments in September-October.
Up to 700 wagons were reportedly heading to the Batiovo – Epereshke land border crossing point on September 11, of which 153 wagons were loaded with grain. Meanwhile, up to 80 wagons were moving to Chop – Zahony border crossing in that date.

The Liepaja SEZ increased the cargo turnover by 10% month-on-month or by 45,000 t to 504,000 t in August.
