The cargo turnover of the Port of Klaipeda remained unchanged in November compared with October. Meanwhile, a 135,000 t decrease in transshipment at the Klaipeda State Seaport to 2.9 million t was offset by a 129,000 t rise in handling of crude oil at the Butinge terminal to 790,000 t.

Czech railroad operator EP Cargo (part of the European energy company Energy and Industry Holding) has purchased 50 wagons with a body volume of 103 cubic meters for transportation of agricultural products.
The French company Ermewa has delivered 55 new intermodal wagons of the Sgmmnss 80′ type, manufactured at the Tatravagonka plant, to a Swedish customer. They are suitable for transportation of 20-, 30-, 40-foot and interchangeable containers.
AB Klaipėdos nafta (KN) is resuming the supply of diesel fuel in ISO containers (30,000 tonnes) by rail through Poland to Ukraine after a break. This batch of fuel was transferred from a tanker to KN tanks and then to tank containers.
