Ukraine sets sugar export curbs valid this marketing year
The maximum volume of sugar allowed for exports during the marketing year 2023-2024 has been set at 650,000 t. This decision was adopted by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine together with the National Association of Sugar Producers of Ukraine “Ukrtsukor” and recorded in the corresponding Memorandum of Understanding.
Handling at Ukraine – Slovakia border crossings*
On average 242 wagons were transferred daily through the Chop – Čierna nad Tisou land border crossing point as of November 23 (up 33 units per day in two weeks). In particular, 203 wagons were moving on export routes (up 20 units), while 39 wagons arrived with imported goods (up 13 wagons).

Romanian port of Constanta: 40% of handled grain comes from Ukraine
In ten months, the Romanian port of Constanta shipped 29.4 million t of grain, including 11.7 million t from Ukraine (8.6 million t of Ukrainian products were handled last year). Thus, the share of Ukrainian grain in the cargo turnover in Constanta amounted to almost 40%.
