Half of Greece’s railway infrastructure destroyed. Port of Piraeus to be closed for at least one month

            Greece’s north-south railroad line was severely damaged by the Daniel storm that hit the region on September 4. Up to 50 km of railway infrastructure in the central part of the country was destroyed.

Regular intermodal service from Ukraine to Baltic Container Terminal

Slovakian ZSSK Cargo imposes conventional restrictions on cargo transportation

            From September 11 and until the decision is revoked, the French railway operator Fret SNCF will be subject to a convention that will restrict transportation of cargoes of any kind from Slovakia to Spain. This is stated in the ZSSK Cargo notification No. ZAN/497-2187 of September 8, according to the Fret SNCF.
