Freight traffic on Berezyne-Basarabiaska section to be launched on March 25
According to the report on the readiness of the Basarabiaska-Serpneve 1 railroad crossing point for joint control, traffic on the section may be opened on March 25.

Vadul-Siret – Dornesti (Romania) land border crossing served about 191 wagons per day in the period from March 1 till March 21 (two trains on a 1520 mm gauge track and two trains on a 1435 mm gauge track).

Sunolta Group, a grain trading company, has acquired grain transshipment facilities of the Olympex Coupe International terminal (owned by GNT Group) in the Odesa Commercial Sea Port. The company announced the deal in February 2023.
Spanish carrier RTSU orders 11 Stadler locomotives
Spanish carrier Rail & Truck Strait Union (RTSU) and rolling stock leasing operator Alpha Trains have signed an agreement for Stadler locomotives.
Handling at Ukraine-Slovakia border crossings*
About 286 wagons (four trains) were transferred daily through the Chop – Čierna nad Tisou border crossing in the period from March 1 to March 16. Approximately 4,000 wagons were waiting to be handled at the Chop station as of March 16.
Ventspils Freeport cargo turnover in February
The Freeport of Ventspils handled about 826,000 t of cargo in February 2023 (down overwhelming 751,000 t from January 2023). Note that the February 2023 cargo turnover appeared to be the lowest since October 2021.
