UZ Cargo Poland: transportation of oil products on Lithuania-Poland-Ukraine route
According to Ukrzaliznytsia, UZ Cargo Poland, together with LTG Cargo Polska, transported oil products on the Lithuania-Poland-Ukraine route. For UZ Cargo Poland, this is the first delivery of oil products as an EU-licensed rail carrier on a specific route through Poland in combination with forwarding service provision using UZ-owned wagons.
Port of Gdansk: Q1 operation results
According to the press service, the Port of Gdansk started 2025 with a steady increase in container handling. In the first quarter, the port’s terminals handled more than 624,000 TEU, which is 17% more compared to the same period last year.

The freight wagon rental market remains generally steady in Baltic countries in April 2025. The rental rates of boxcars with a body capacity of 161-175 cu m and fitting platforms were the only ones that saw some adjustments due to currency fluctuations.
Year 2024: Astarta-Kyiv increased exports but reduced production
In 2024, Astarta-Kyiv agri-industrial holding increased exports of its products compared to the year before. In particular, sugar exports surged four times to 197,000 tons, those of grains and oilseeds by 1% to 808,000 tons, and those of soybean products by 1% to 182,000 tons.
