Activity has declined again on the small-tonnage shipping market due to the Labor Day celebrations. The cargo/tonnage imbalance has gotten even sharper, especially in North Europe , as this region accepts a lot of ballasters from the Mediterranean region (mainly these are vessels under 30 years old operated by Turkish owners).

Ukrzaliznytsia receives first batch of rails from Voestalpine Rail Technology GmbH
Ukrzaliznytsia has received 1,400 tons of rails manufactured by the Austrian company Voestalpine Rail Technology GmbH. According to UZ’s social media posts, the first batch was delivered ahead of schedule, which will increase the pace and volume of infrastructure repairs at key sites.
