Thessaloniki Port Authority SA (ThPA) is launching a new rail service for container trains between the port of Thessaloniki (Greece) and the city of Skopje (North Macedonia). Trains will run on this route once a week (on Wednesdays).
From September 4 to September 12, due to construction works, ČD Cargo will suspend transportation of all cargoes from Slovakia to the Kunovice-Loucka and Rajnochovice stations in the Czech Republic. The information about the restriction was published in the ZSSK Cargo telegram

On August 24, the act of acceptance and transfer of the Unified Property Complex of the State Enterprise “Commercial Sea Port of Ust-Dunaisk” was signed. Elixir Ukraine officially became the new owner of the port. This was reported by the State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPF).
The Gotthard Base Tunnel (Swiss Gotthard) was partially reopened to rail traffic on the night of August 22, 2023.
