The cargo turnover dropped by 61,000 t to 434,000 t at the Ventspils Freeport in June compared with May. The decline was seen in literally all groups of cargo.
This week, the first joint barge caravan of NIBULON and Ukrainian Danube Shipping Company returned to the Izmail port. This was announced by UDP CEO Dmytro Moskalenko on his Facebook page.
According to the post on social media by UDP CEO Dmytro Moskalenko, the caravan of three Kapitan Antypov ships that left Izmail three weeks ago is still sailing along the Danube to Linz.
NIBULON has announced cooperation with Ukrainian Danube Shipping Company. The terms of the contract provide for the use of one caravan of the UDP fleet to ship Ukrainian grain from Izmail to the Romanian port of Constanta.
