Moldovan Government approves Romania’s request to acquire port of Giurgiulesti
According to the Government of Moldova, on July 11, the request of the state-owned company Compania Nationala Administratia Porturilor Maritime Constanta (Maritime Ports Administration), which plans to invest more than €24 million in the development of infrastructure of the international port of Giurgiulesti (Moldova), was reviewed and approved.

COFCO International launches own fleet of river barges in Romania
According to COFCO International, the company has launched a new fleet of its own on the Danube River in Romania. It includes four towing vessels and 29 barges that can transport 1,000 tons of agricultural products, including corn, wheat and barley.
