Ukrzaliznytsia planning to purchase 1,000 containers by the end of 2023
As part of the intermodal transportation development, Ukrzaliznytsia JSC plans to purchase 1,000 containers by the end of 2023. In total, it is planned to purchase 500 20-foot Open Top containers for the transportation of bulk cargo, including ore, and 500 20-foot bulk containers for the transportation of agricultural products.

Handling at Ukraine – Slovakia border crossings*
On average, as many as 209 wagons were transferred daily through the Chop – Čierna nad Tisou land border crossing point as of November 9 (down 41 units in two weeks). In particular, 183 wagons were moving on export routes (down 40 units), while 26 wagons arrived with imported goods (down 1 wagon).

As many as 181 wagons were transferred daily through the the Vadul-Siret – Dornesti (Romania) land border crossing as of November 7 (down 7 wagons in two weeks). Handling at Ukraine – Poland border crossings*
As many as 3,500 wagons were moving to the Izov station on November 2, including 1,200 wagons with cakes, 457 wagons with vegetable oil, and 173 wagons with grain. About 1,600 wagons were on their way to the Mostyska-2 station on that date, including 900 containers.
